When I launched this site I had imagined that I would do most of my writing on social and political themes here, as, given increasing intolerance for reactionary dissent, it had begun to seem a bad idea to do so at the blog I have maintained for more than a decade under my own name.

This blog is a reflection of me, forever growing and evolving. So, only expect one thing when you visit, TRUTH. Now What? As an African-American man that has spent his life just a few hours away from where Trayvon Martin was killed and George Zimmerman was subsequently acquitted, I am saddened by the verdict, but I am not surprised. I am angry, but not amazed. Not very far, at all.
